Overview

The Sales Estimate View provides a detailed summary of a sales estimate prepared for a customer. This view is used to manage and track the status of a sales estimate, including its validity, customer details, and the items or services proposed. The estimate can be converted into a sales order if accepted by the customer.

  1. Estimate Section:

    • Reference: The unique identifier for the estimate (e.g., 001/2023).
    • Date: The date when the estimate was created (e.g., 13/12/2023).
    • Valid Until: The expiry date of the estimate, indicating until when the offer is valid (e.g., 14/12/2023).
    • Sales Man: The name of the salesperson responsible for this estimate (e.g., Varadharaj V).
  2. Document Details:

    • Payment Terms: The payment terms agreed upon with the customer (e.g., Cash Only).
    • Customer Currency: The currency in which the estimate is made (e.g., INR).
    • Attach File: An option to attach relevant files to the estimate (e.g., Choose File button).
  3. Customer and Delivery Details:

    • Customer Details: Information about the customer including name, and contact information (e.g., Vimal Fabrics).
    • Delivery Details: The location or address where the delivery is to be made (e.g., Default).
  4. Line Details:

    • Item Description: The name or description of the item or service being proposed (e.g., 1010 - Dell Laptop, 1009 - Customer Domain Purchased).
    • Quantity: The quantity of the item or service offered (e.g., 1 each).
    • Memo: Any additional notes or memos related to the item (e.g., blank in this case).
    • Unit: The unit of measure for the item (e.g., each).
    • Price: The price per unit of the item (e.g., 171.950).
    • Discount: Any discount applied to the item (e.g., 0.000).
    • Item Tax Type: The type of tax applied to the item (e.g., GST 18%).
    • Total: The total price for the item including tax (e.g., 171.950).
  5. Estimate Actions:

    • Edit: Edit the details of the estimate.
    • Email: Send the estimate to the customer via email.
    • Print: Print the estimate.
    • Make Order: Convert the estimate into a sales order.
    • Void: Cancel the estimate if it is no longer valid or needed.
  6. Status Indicator:

    • Status Badge: The status of the estimate is shown with a badge (e.g., EXPIRED), indicating that the estimate is no longer valid.
